The receiver features QuickScan frequency selection, which automatically identifies a clear RF channel to help minimize interference. Internal antenna diversity and removable antennas help maintain reliable signal reception during live performances, presentations, and events. The BLX4R provides balanced XLR and 1/4-inch outputs for connection to mixers, PA systems, and professional audio equipment. Under typical conditions, the system supports wireless operation up to 300 ft (91 m) line-of-sight and allows up to 12 compatible systems per frequency band.
